Live music is my weakness. My poison, my guilty pleasure, my favorite past time etc, etc. It is unreal. I've never been overly gifted in the musical world, to the point of being booted out of clarinet lessons for being useless, but for as long as live music lives on I'm not particularly upset. Why? Because the way that music can bring people together is mostly unparalleled. A wicked mix of lyrical genius, moving sounds and atmosphere: that's what live gigs are. Everyone who's been to a decent gig knows the power of a great atmosphere. I think at some point in my life I might have fallen in lust with music and then in love with live gigs. Who knows? What I'm here at Creative Drinks to do is talk to the people, about the people and with the people that create live music in Brisbane.
