Two of the reasons I went to uni were, one, to delay adulthood and, two, ensure that my earliest alarm was set at 10 am for at least three years. However, my degree also spawned a passion for the local music industry. I have no musical talent myself but compensate for that by going to as many local gigs as I can afford. I am often found convincing my friends with no interest in live music to fork out money on gigs and festivals to see bands they’ve never heard of. I've never really had many hobbies except for basketball before everyone else grew to my height and I was no longer the best player. I spend my time watching crime shows and assuring my dad that if a career in music isn’t going to happen, I can always delay adulthood a bit more and study criminology next.
