Women in comedy have been a hot topic in the entertainment industry for a long time now, and the divisive attitudes of audiences can be overwhelming to newcomers and experienced female comedians alike. We recently had a chance to talk to two amazing female comedians as part of the Brisbane Comedy Festival, Rose Callaghan, and Rama Nicholas.

Melbourne rockers Fight The Sun recently dropped their self-titled debut EP, packed with aggressive rock. The EP is taking the band through Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane on an EP launch tour. On Friday March 9th, Fight The Sun’s tour will be dropping in to Fortitude Valley’s Ric’s Bar.
The launch of Matt Moran’s Little Big House in December last year had South Brisbane’s party lovers in awe. The heritage listed Queenslander offers canned cocktails, froze, and chicken parmi spring roles. It seemed like Little Big House offered everything you could wish for. It then got even better with the announcement of Little Big Thursdays.
