AGAINST THE GRAIN FESTIVAL 2017
Katy Bedford | On 11, Aug 2017
Against the Grain Festival is returning this year with an absolute killer line up curated by Brisbane’s very own creative collective- Grain. This festival celebrates local talent, additionally featuring international acts such Canadian band The Courtneys who will be playing on the Sunday (27th Aug).
The festival will be held over three nights from the Friday 25th August to Sunday 27th August in various venues throughout Fortitude Valley. This includes Reverends Fine Coffee and Bar, Barbara, The Brightside Carpark and Bakery lane.
We’ve had word from one of our performers – Thomas Hobbs playing alongside Chakra Efendi that “this year’s line-up is not to be missed, featuring some of Australia’s best home-grown talent…It’s a great way to catch multiple bands over such a short period of time with the addition of that close-knit Brissy atmosphere.”
Here we have this year’s line-up:
Friday 25th August (Reverends and Barbara *Free Entry):
Saturday 26th August (Bakery Lane and Brightside Carpark):
Cody Munro Moore
Sunday 27th August (Bakery Lane and Brightside Carpark):
The Ocean Party
