He Died with a Felafel in his hand - Brisbane Powerhouse

He Died with a Felafel in his hand – Brisbane Powerhouse

| On 29, Sep 2013

This week Brisbane Powerhouse will present an adaption of John Birmingham’s classic novel, He Died with a Felafel in his hand.

The novel explores numerous cases of living in share houses in Brisbane and other cities in Australia.

The book has since been adapted for stage and film.

The Powerhouse will bring to life their adaption of relatable share house dramas.

Simon Bedak, Steve LeMarquand and Michael Neaylon have developed the novel for the Brisbane stage.

Expect a show filled with gritty, crazy and dysfunctional characters.

The cast of 11 amazing Brisbane actors will play 30 different characters.

Some of which I am sure we can all relate to.

From strippers to stoners, losers to nerds there is something for everyone.
