River Bar + Kitchen

Among the plethora of options along Brisbane’s renowned dining district Eagle Street Pier, Matt Moran’s River Bar and Kitchen is a clear frontrunner.
The bar offers a more casual alternative to dining within the Riparian Plaza, and perhaps most importantly, far more casual prices.
Prime river and Story Bridge views make River Bar one of the most popular watering holes for post-work beverages every single night of the week. The nautical themed, casual younger sister of Aria serves up food that perfectly compliments the view from the tables – simply spectacular.
The kitchen operates until 11pm and the menu is designed for leisurely grazing sessions amongst friends and sipping on cocktails, while soaking up the perfect backdrop. The impressive food and cocktail menus will ensure you always have a drink in one hand and a delectable delight in the other, perhaps a spring lamb slider.
If you’re stopping by the bar for some drinks and dinner you could perhaps start with a good ol’ beef burger with cheddar, pickles, relish and a more than hearty share of fries. Or for something a little more in-tune with the restaurant’s nautical theme and a little more out there, you could try the soft-shell crab burger with kewpie, gherkins and fennel, also served with a generous portion of chippies.
River Bar’s location makes it the perfect pit-stop for some casual pre-drinks and dinner before heading out, or settle in for the long-haul and indulge in round after round of the ever-popular lychee mojito jugs. If you’re in more of a pizza mood, we suggest the chorizo, peppers, olive and manchego option as the perfect accompaniment to a vodka, lime and soda- with extra lime of course.
Drop by the River Bar and Kitchen seven days a week from 7am until 11:30pm.
