The Fashion event of the season has arrived. The inaugural Brisbane Fashion Weekend 2016 features designer runway shows, on-site designers and boutique pop-up shopping experiences! You’ll want to clear your calendar up for this one.  

On October 22nd and 23rd, Brisbane Fashion Weekend will be delivering you its first ever display of over 50 designers, styles and garments at the Royal International Convention Centre. Visitors will have the opportunity to sit front row at The Runway and view the latest designs from some of Australia’s best known brands, before purchasing their favourite pieces in the adjoining Pop-Up Precinct. Exclusive offers and discounts on current and past collections will be available, as well as  exclusive viewing of the latest trends that are creative a buzz in Australia. However, this event isn’t just a runway or shopping stall; it’s much more then that. Here’s a list of all the exciting areas to check out:

Pop-Up Precinct:

This will be the main hub of Brisbane Fashion Weekend with Australia’s most coveted designers and brands offering exclusive discounts on their collections and ranges in one huge, fashion-infused environment.

The Runway:

Enjoy the ultimate runway experience as 10 – 15 of Australia’s best-known designers showcase their latest collections, all of which will be available for purchase. The Runway will be styled by Kimberly Gardner, Fashion Editor of Q Weekend and the Brisbane News. Sessions on The Runway will be held at 11am, 12pm and 1pm daily. Each session will be identical, and will feature designs from labels such as: Saylor & Saige, ar-czyk, 400 CO and Wilde Willow.

Centre Stage:

This area offers visitors the chance to hear from fashion industry experts on a range of hot topics – from styling tips, to hair and makeup trends for the upcoming season, and everything in between. Although there is limited seating, this area is FREE and available for all visitors.

Pamper room:

A place where visitors can refresh their hair, makeup and nails and treat themselves to an on-site consultation and mini makeover performed by experienced professionals. With just a small fee for these services, proceeds will be going to local Brisbane charity, Suited To Success. Appointments can be made at the event.

Champagne Lounge: 

Amidst all the exciting and crazy areas, the Champagne Lounge is the perfect place for visitors to take a breather. Soak up the atmosphere of Brisbane Fashion Weekend as all the action goes on around you.

Entry to the Brisbane Fashion Weekend is granted through three different tickets available, giving you the choice and freedom to plan your weekend with a variety of benefits and inclusions. These are the Platinum $65, Gold $45 and Silver $25 tickets.
