Before you read on, I suggest you reach for the valium or ventolin. This is a public service announcement.
The secret’s out! At every Guzman Y Gomez (GYG) around Brisbane, Cinco de Mayo means $5 burritos and $5 Coronas! (In Spanish, it means 5th May). With burritos retailing at around $10.90, Cinco de Mayo is serving up a significant saving.
GYG aims to deliver an authentic Latino culture to Brisbane. Their smiling Spanish staff and tasty parcels of burrito goodness assure their motto succeeds every time.
We send our thanks to the Guzman Gods for this mid-week treat.
Some locations of GYG include Albert St in the CBD, Southbank and Carindale.
$5 favourites mean you need to get to a GYG this coming Monday. Yes, that’s an order.
