Like most, we have been missing going out for any meal. With isolation coming to an end, we have been spending our time collating a list of vegan spots we cannot wait to visit. That’s right, look no further for your next date/dinner out/luncheon.
Here it is, a carefully curated hit list of 10 of vegan restaurants to visit post iso.
Located in Paddington, we can confirm everything on the menu here, is amazing. And so, Yavanna makes the top of our list. Open for breakfast or lunch, our top recommendations are the House Flufflies, Cauli Wings and Poutine.
Serving fresh, local ingredients, Nonna’s Nightmare‘s pizza and burgers are are so good, even your Nonna wouldn’t know they were plant based. Nestled in West End among pubs and bars, it is in a convenient location to keep date night going.
3. San Churro
San Churro has a whole vegan desert menu! We’re open to desert as a main course also.
Open the calendar app and note it down. Welcome to Bowen Hills hosts vegan night once per month! With food trucks Happy Soul Bowl, MooFree Burgers, Abbiocco, live music and pool, it is a fun night out in the fresh air. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better… dogs are welcome!
5. Madame Wu
One of our favourite Modern Asian restaurants, particularly for a long lunch, Madame Wu has a their vegan menu sorted. The Vegetable and Tofu section is what you’re after. Eat, drink, and be merry while you look over the river.
The meals are massive, and your desire to return to Greenhouse Canteen in South Brisbane will be also. If your company isn’t vegan, this is the place that may make them convert. Also noteworthy is the 2 taco for $10 special on Tuesday’s!
Ready for a fine dining night? With a whole vegan menu now available, Otto‘s simple Italian inspired food celebrates la dolce vita.
8. Malt Dining
Malt Dining offers a 6 course vegan dégustation with paired wines for $105 per person! Keep an eye out for when their next vegan dégustation is.
Get up and move at Netherworld and enjoy a completely vegan menu, and a collection of 70’s arcade machines and games.
10. You Came Again
You Came Again, is Brisbane’s first vegan tapas bar. Located in West End, you will want to order everything. From agedashi tofu, to mushroom and walnut pâté get excited to try it all.
