A taste of Italy at the Spaghetti House Trattoria

If you are after big servings of comfort food, this is the place for you!
The Spaghetti House Trattoria is no fuss carb loading at its best.
With a huge menu there are plenty of exciting dishes to try, without forgetting your old time favorites, meaning there is a dish for any mood you may be in.
The menu features salads, pastas, fancy pastas, and both meat and seafood mains… and lets not forget the desserts!
There are also set menu options for two or more people, reminiscent of old school Italian family eating, with course after course.
The menu also features numerous vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.
What we ordered:
Amatriciana Pasta Small $15.90 Large $18.90 Pancetta, tomato & chilli pepper
Cacio e Pepe Pasta Small $15.90 Large $18.90 pecorino romano and fresh cracked pepper served in a parmesan basket
The loud and happy environment further instilled a feeling of home cooking, and the setting is beautiful.
Only criticism was the service, we were left waiting to first be seated, and then to order, and it was repeatedly difficult to get the attention of a waiter. Our orders were also confused, with each of us receiving our requested pasta sauce with the incorrect spaghetti.
When they were waiting on us, everyone was very friendly but it seemed a tad unorganised.
Despite these minor issues, I had a great time and think this will be one of my more regular dining choices.
In a city filled with amazing fine dining options, there are days where you just can’t beat a great big bowl of pasta and a glass of red wine, and The Spaghetti House Trattoria more than provides this!
