| On 08, Nov 2013

It’s that time of the year again: university exams are nigh, and that means graduation is, too.

For the fine art students of Brisbane, now is the perfect time to start exhibiting their skills and the work they have just spent 3-4 years refining – and what better way to help celebrate their success than attending an exhibit, or two.

Come mid-November, both the Queensland University of Technology and the Southbank Institute of Technology’s students, respectively, will be presenting their projects to the wider community in two individual showings.

November 11 will see the commencements of QUT 13, a showcasing of 30 students’ work, the result of years of exploration into their own personal art practices, on display at the Kelvin Grove campus’ H Block, and will run through to November 14.

The official opening night will be held on the 13th between 6-8pm, and there will be a story where artist-made products may be purchased.
