Alex Carrette

I am just starting out on my career in arts and entertainment writing. Music is definitely my biggest interest, both in writing and as a past-time. I started classical music training when I was seven but at 15, I went to the other end of the spectrum and discovered this amazing thing called heavy metal music. Since then I've sought to immerse myself in every style of music no matter who wrote it, when it was written or where it's from. Playing in several bands has given me in insight into how the local music scene works. This is why I like to give exposure to local artists and events which otherwise might not receive as much publicity. Brisbane has a lot of talented artists and I intend to inform you about who they are and when you can see them perform.
