When one is asked about their values growing up, the usual answers would be “love” or “hard work.” Mine is food! Growing up in a cosy Jewish home, food was deeply entrenched in our daily lives. Us kids quickly learnt the importance of celebrating food and we quickly learnt of the power of a ‘feast’ to unite family and friends. I inherited my father’s love of locating local, authentic cheap eats all over town. Brisbane’s cultural and culinary diversity enables us to sample all sorts of interesting and unfamiliar food, right at our fingertips. My job at Creative Drinks is to source Brisbane’s best food joints, and I hope to convey my love and passion for authentic, cheap and delicious food to you all.
