Julia Bates

I’m a country girl from New South Wales who began her writing career blogging about miniature ponies. These days I can be found entertaining the good folk of Brisbane with sub-par Bob Dylan impersonations, trying to perfect the humble chocolate mug cake and studying a Bachelor of Arts and Communications. My goal in life is to compile a comprehensive list of the best dog parks in Australia. Failing that, I’d like to keep a basil plant alive for more than two weeks. I love writing about talented people, their work and the fantastic experiences Brisbane has to offer.
