When I was young I would stay up with my Dad as he introduced me to the sound of the Beatles, Bruce Springsteen and Eric Clapton or the “Jesus of Rock” as Dad would call him. Inspired, I tested my skills on the piano, violin and in the school choir. After boldly deciding I was good enough to record my “talent” I realised, with great chagrin, that I am perhaps better suited to appreciating music in a crowd. While the world might be better off without me sharing my love for music vocally, I can’t help but write about it. Hopefully, my writing is a little more pleasant than my singing voice.
