Belle & Sebastian Coming To Brisbane

| On 17, Dec 2014

After a stellar 2010 tour, the experienced Scottish indie rockers Belle and Sebastian return to Brisbane on the 28th of January for a show at The Tivoli. Their 2015 Australian tour is in support of their upcoming album Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance, the followup to 2010’s Write About Love.

Since their 1996 debut album Tigermilk, Belle and Sebastian have been darlings of the British Indie scene. Well known for their upbeat dance tunes, as well as their more thoughtful and introspective offerings, the band has maintained a devoted following across the globe for more than a decade. In recent years, the band has concentrated on side projects, such as lead singer Stuart’s 2014 musical film God Help the Girl, with the upcoming album marking their first output as a band in five years.

Their live shows are well known for their high energy, big sound, and audience interaction. The band constantly dip into their hefty back-catalog to play past hits such as I’m a Cuckoo, and Funny Little Frog, as well as fan favourites such as Stars of Track and Field, whilst also showcasing their latest material.  Well known for quality live, Belle and Sebastian should not be missed when they come to Brisbane this January.
