Welcome to The Creative Issue’s weekly coverage of Brisbane Fashion Month (BFM). Throughout October we’ll be introducing you to Brisbane’s top loveable and local brands featured in this year’s BFM shows and events.

Kick-starting our feature is Jericho Road Clothing. If you’re into bold colours, prints and patterns then you’ll fall head-over-heels for Jericho Road, we guarantee! Created by sisters, Chloe and Kate these girls draw on feelings of nostalgia and youthfulness mixing together various styles, shapes and colours.

Each item of clothing is made specifically for the Australian climate conditions to ensure that each customer feels comfortable, stylish and confident. Jericho Road is additionally, an advocate for ethical and sustainable clothing working with certified manufacturers and professionals.

Jericho Road is also known to work with local artists within the Brisbane region to support local creativity. With their priority and focus on local art, this steams from Chloe and Kate’s love for experimenting with various arts and crafts from their childhood. The girls also draw on inspiration from the Australian outback using landscapes and colours that they deeply admired and loved while growing up.
