Bring Me The Horizon Release Sixth Album Amo

Bring Me The Horizon Release Sixth Album Amo
Taylor Furby

With only a few months to go before Bring Me The Horizon make their way to Australia, we finally get to hear amo.

Originally expecting the album on January 11th, this has felt like an extra long wait for the highly anticipated album. Their fifth album, That’s The Spirit, was a big evolution for the band which means many Bring Me The Horizon fans have been eagerly awaiting this album, myself included.

We heard ‘MANTRA’ first which seems to have been chosen to bridge the gap between the two albums. We’ve also heard ‘wonderful life’ featuring Dani Filth of the legendary metal band, Cradle of Filth. Along with ‘medicine’ that Oli Sykes, lead singer of Bring Me The Horizon, has claimed is the closest to a pop track on the album.

Although there’s a lot of metal qualities, the album is very much a rock album that spans a range of other genres. The UK band has decided to be experimental with this album and further evolve their music and I dig it.

Tickets are still available for the Australian shows coming up in April here.
