Brisbane city street style

| On 10, Mar 2014

This week the style in the city was all about making your hair your best accessory.

A crafty hairstyle or unique hair colour is a great way to add that special edge to your personal style.

Check out what hair and fashion trends were popular in Brisbane this week below.

Callum’s upbeat personality was nearly as cool as his style, which he describes as “a mish-mash of homeless chic.”

He wears Converse shoes, a Herschel backpack and a black velvet shirt from an op shop.

His favourite place to shop in Brisbane is Vinnies in Paddington, where he says the staff are incredibly nice and helpful.

He gets his inspiration from people watching.

Sontae, 17

Sontae’s minimalist style is made just that bit cooler by her braided hairstyle.

She says she often likes to style her hair in interesting ways as it makes her style more unique.

Sontae bought her cropped white tee from Topshop and her skort from Universal.

As well as Universal and Topshop, she also likes to shop at Dissh in the Queen Street Mall.

Tayla, 18

Tayla sports the modern grunge look and wears a tartan skirt from Missguided, a shirt from ASOS and Lipstick shoes (available at Myer).

She says her style is inspired by nineties films, such as Clueless (she looks as though she walked right off the set!).

Her hair is streaked a light pastel pink, which Taylor likes because it adds a new element to her style.

She’s currently loving the tartan trend and her favourite place to shop is Topshop.

Next week we’ll be back with more Brisbane city street style.
