Brisbane city street style

Brisbane city street style

| On 18, Mar 2014

We headed to the city again this week to see what clothes and style accessories people are currently loving.

Unsurprisingly, denim and leather were still trending, and will probably become increasingly popular as the weather starts to cool down (ever so sporadically I might add).

Here are our picks for some of the city’s best street stylers this week. Enjoy!

Lima, 22

Lima looks chic and sophisticated in her Alexander Wang boots, bag and H&M jumper.

She is a fan of all black styling and likes to base her darker look off New York street style.

Her style icons are Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and she is inspired by what’s trending on the catwalks during any given season.

Her favourite place to shop in Brisbane is Fallow and she is currently obsessed with the leather trend.

Julia, 21

Julia wears denim overalls from Pigeonhole, earrings from Verge Girl and carries a bag from Germany.

She describes her personal style as playful and simple, and says it is inspired by street style guru Alexa Chung (she’s totally channeling this festival look of hers here).

Her picks for Brisbane’s top shops are RaRa Superstar (a must-visit vintage store in Paddington) and Pigeonhole, which is relatively new to Brisbane and can be found in the Wintergarden.

Sarah, 23

Sarah wears a vintage bag from the West End markets, ASOS shoes and a necklace from Thailand.

She says she likes to dress in comfortable fashion and gets style ideas from her friends.

If you like Sarah’s style, we suggest checking out her favourite boutiques in the Elizabeth Arcade, including Little Lace, Hopscotch and Verge Girl.

We hope you found inspiration in some of our favourite looks this week. Next week we’ll be back with more Brisbane street style.
