Brisbane Film Feast serves food for thought

Quirky films, quality food and compelling conversations all at once? Sounds like my kind of Saturday night. Rug up with a pint and plate at the Brisbane Film Feast.Â
This Saturday, The Youth Food Movement is hosting the first ever Brisbane Film Feast. Located on the majestic Brisbane River, Brisbane Film Feast will serve up four thought provoking documentaries about food sustainability.
We live in a food-centric society – diets, science, bloggers, celebrity chefs and cooking shows have significantly influenced the perception and consumption of food. The Youth Food Movement’s aim is to clear the air. They are a team of volunteers who want to inform and equip young people with the knowledge and skills required to create an ethical and sustainable food system.
The event begins at 2pm and runs till 9pm, with the films spread throughout the day.
Enjoy some food for thought, a good feed and the crisp Brisbane. For more information and tickets click here.
