Opening night will take place at the Palace Barracks with a screening of The Railway Man.

Based on a powerful true story, Jonathan Teplitzkys breathtaking, The Railway Man brought audiences to tears – and to their feet – at this year Toronto Film Festival.

Starring Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman, this is not a film to miss!

The festival offers many more movies including Australian shorts, documentaries, family films and even our very own Queensland shorts.
