Brisbane street style- Fortitude Valley
Rafferty Gifford | On 02, Dec 2013
Fortitude Valley is home to a variety of the different styles, looks and trends which define Brisbane fashion.
Flowing skirts were particularly popular on the streets this week, as well as a mixture of cool and unique personal styles.
Check out who we snapped below!
Georgina describes her personal style as alternative.
She wears a casual singlet and genie pants, sunglasses from the West End markets and shoes from an op shop.
Her fashion inspiration comes from the iconic Lady Gaga, and her favourite place to shop in Brisbane is West End, specifically at Xenia Boutique.
Joe changes up the casual look with a Fedora hat and Doc Martins.
He says his style is unique and interesting and that his favourite place to shop in Brisbane is Anne Street.
Sarah’s printed skirt is from the Sydney markets and her sunglasses are Ralph Lauren.
She says her style changes every day depending on her mood, and that on this day she was feeling very relaxed and hippie.
She says her style is inspired by specific labels such as Australian brand Dogstar, and then manipulated for a more individual look, for example mixing with vintage finds and other pieces with a specific look from a label.
This summer she plans on pulling out her collection of hats and wearing a different one every day.
Check back next week to see who we snap on the street of Brisbane.
