Brisbane's Own Charlotte Marnee Releases New Single, 'Delicate'

Brisbane’s very own pop princess Charlotte Marnee is back with her enchanting new single, ‘Delicate’ – a quirky, immersive rendition of new love and the flurry of butterflies that come with it.
Born into a multicultural family (Lao, Chinese & Australian), Charlotte was influenced by a vibrant array of sounds growing up, which evidently shines through her unique and forever-evolving aesthetic.
We first experienced Charlotte’s alluring sound in 2018, when she debuted on Triple J as a feature on Hip Hop track ‘Inside’ with Brisbane rapper iiiConic.
Later on in 2019, she released her hypnotic first single ‘Fledgling’ – an edgy, vampire-inspired track that won two ATOM Music Video Awards.
Since then, Charlotte has seemingly tapped into a new era – one of pastel pinks, romantic loops and soft, feminine energy.
Straying away from the darker tones of her debut, ‘Delicate’ tastefully showcases Charlotte’s artistic range and depth as she lyrically explores and reflects on the vulnerable sensuality of a new relationship.
Featuring the velvet-like vocals of emerging RnB heartthrob Ambrosio and crisp production of SAEI, ‘Delicate’ brings a lighter, more playful experience for Charlotte’s listeners as she deftly fuses the best of RnB, jazz and pop to create a smooth, blissful bop – one you’ll surely be humming along to long after it’s finished.
To celebrate the release of ‘Delicate’, Charlotte will be having an official launch at The Bearded Lady in West End (unfortunately postponed due to COVID with new dates to be arranged soon).
It was sold out but keep an eye out on the Facebook event in case more tickets become available!
