Bucci’s Birthday Bash

Come and join the party at Buccis Restaurant and Bar as they celebrate seven years of mouthwatering Italian food with a new menu filled with fan favourites.

As the temperatures continue to dip in Brisbane, what’s better than a cosy meal of authentic yet modern Italian flavours and award winning wine to pass an autumnal afternoon or evening.

Bucci Restaurant and Bar has reached the seven year milestone and to celebrate, they have curated an entire menu specifically filled with popular dishes and diners favourites that have cemented their enduring popularity in the city.

Bucci’s signature cocktails, Brisbane

Bucci first opened in 2012 under the Executive Chef and Co-owner, Shaun Malone and has gone from strength to strength ever since.

It is a testament to the importance that Bucci places on the emotional response of their customers that whilst the new menu is a birthday celebration, it is also to pay “tribute to the loyalty of our customers and what they love to eat when they dine with us”, says Event Manager, Sabrina Judge.

And it’s not only the diners that agree, some of Bucci’s notable acclaims, among many, include The Sunday Mail Delicious 100 (2017 and 2018), Gourmet Traveller Wine Awards (2013-2018), Australian Financial Review Top 100 Restaurants (2016-2018) and being featured for sustainable restaurant practice in the book, Truth, Love and Clean Cutlery.

Bucci’s signature Arancini Balls

Some of the iconic dishes on the menu include the return of the legendary saffron risotto balls filled with rabbit ragu and gooey mozzarella and roast field & porcini mushroom risotto with blueberry conserve. Out of the 21 (yes 21!) varieties of arancini balls Bucci has created over the years, these have remained firm fan favourites.

Bucci’s Linguine Al Granchio

Other top picks include Bucci’s open style lasagna, featuring braised Rangers Valley beef shin, truffle mascarpone and baby spinach and the Linguine Al Granchio, made using the freshest of spanner crabs from Fraser Isle, chilli, parsley and lemon.

Bucci’s Chocolate Nemesis

Finally the star of the show (and arguably the best part of any meal) comes in the form of Bucci’s Chocolate Nemesis. Make sure you leave room for this slice of heaven which has been on the menu since it first began and is well documented as simply ‘the best flourless chocolate cake ever’ – who can argue with that?

The current Bucci menu is on offer daily for lunch and dinner. For those keen to taste and experience different regions of Italy, Bucci also has its Vacation Series lunch menu currently featuring Calabria (three courses $36, two courses $30 and single course $24).
