Carl Barron continues his sell-out run at QPAC this June

Carl Barron continues his sell-out run at QPAC this June

| On 01, Feb 2016

After making over 300,000 Australians laugh on his last tour and taking a year off to star in his first feature film, Carl Barron returns to the stage with his brand new show. If previous record is anything to go by, it is strongly advised to grab your tickets early!

Comedy legend Carl Barron will perform in his latest show over eight big nights at Brisbane’s QPAC in June. 2015 saw the commencement of Carl Barron’s new tour “Drinking with a Fork” and has since smashed the box office, proving that Carl is just as popular as ever! Barron’s observational style of comedy has seen him win multiple awards and even writing and starring in his first feature film ‘Manny Lewis’ in 2015.

He has come a long way since his roof tiling days and has since made thousands of people across the country laugh with his self-admittedly awkward humour and hilarious observations. In July a Ticketmaster survey into the comedy industry revealed Barron to be Australia’s most popular comedian and the third most popular comedian world-wide.

“I don’t really know what to make of all that stuff. Percentages and this and that. I just like making people laugh,” Barron said.

The quick-witted comedian has toured the globe and has headlined at every major comedy venue and Festival worldwide. There are very few Australian comedians on the live scene who have received the same level of success and praise as Carl. Don’t miss this comedic great as he presents an evening of stand up with a bit of guitar. He blends structure with chance, or as he likes to call it – drinking with a fork.
