Gourmet Cabaret: Comfort Food Cabaret
This week, Brisbane welcomes Michelle Pearson’s stunning vocal and culinary talents for a one-night-only event not to be missed.
Cabaret songstress Michelle Pearson brings her Adelaide Theatre Guide Awards 2017, and Adelaide Fringe Best Cabaret award-winning show Comfort Food Cabaret, and quite literal dinner-performance to Brisbane’s Jo-Jo’s Restaurant and Bar for one night only.
Whipping together Michelle’s cookery and stunning vocal talent into a night of soulful song and delicious food, Comfort Food Cabaret has been performed at the likes of Edinburgh Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, and the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival; as well as Copenhagen’s three-Michelin-starred restaurant Geranium.
This year this musically gastronomic experience debuts to Brisbane audiences and covers a three-course meal designed around the celebration of comfort food, paired perfectly with a musical line-up performed by Michelle Pearson herself as she serves up an evening as unique as it is scrumptious.
The evening will also be supporting a highly deserving non-profit, with all proceeds from the event going to the charity Little Lives, which fundraises for local and abroad children’s health and provides vital equipment and health services to children with medical needs.
This mouth-watering cabaret performance-dinner will take diners on a one-night-only, epicurean journey through intimate cabaret performance and a delectable dinner.
This is a strictly limited event, and an experience not to be missed, so get in quickly to secure your place at Michelle’s table, for an evening that will serenade your ears, and your tastebuds.
