Eumundi street style
Rafferty Gifford | On 30, Apr 2014
This week we snapped some of the best street stylers at the Eumundi Markets.
Although the Eumundi Markets are situated at the Sunshine Coast, they attract visitors from all over Queensland, particularly Brisbane.
As always, the street style at Eumundi encompassed many bright colours, patterns and prints and loose fitting attires. Everyone was having fun with what they wore.
Check out who we photographed below!
Michaela creates a sixties retro meets grunge vibe in her polka dot green shift dress and high top Converse shoes.
She says her style is inspired by Andy Warhol’s muse, Edie Sedwick, in the 1960’s.
The sixities in general have a huge influence on her everyday fashion choices, and she likes to wear vintage shift dresses from the era. The dress she wears here is from that time, and is from Sunday Social in Fortitude Valley.
Michaela also has a love for the nineties grunge trend, which is where her Converse fit in. She says she has bought Converse shoes since the age of ten, and is quick to replace them every time an old pair wears out.
In the winter Michaela likes to rug up in a leather jacket, lots of sweaters and cosy kitted sweaters. She prefers dressing for the colder seasons because the fashion can be more exciting.
Frankie describes her style as minimalist and casual, with a feminine, summer touch.
She wears a loose fitted floral blouse from Tokito, denim shorts from Target, Vans and a vintage necklace.
Her fashion icon is Australian blogger Emma Lucey from Spin Dizzy Fall. She also gained inspiration  when travelling overseas to Paris.
Her favourite Brisbane stores are Dissh, Myer and op shops.
Frankie says her winter fashion staple is a bright scarf and crisp black jacket, however, she’s not very fond of jelly shoes and leggings.
Imogen wears a Mink Pink singlet, Isla shorts, Mimco clutch and a watch from Fossil.
She says she likes to dress casually, comfortably and with a colourful flair.
Her style icon is blogger, socialite and reality television star Millie Mackintosh.
Imogen’s favourite places to shop in Brisbane are Little Red Dress in Hawthorne and Get Gorgeous  in Cleveland. She is currently loving off the shoulder dresses.
Next week we’ll be back in Brisbane and snapping photos of its best street stylers once more.
