Eumundi street style
Rafferty Gifford | On 09, Jan 2014
This week we departed from our usual Brisbane locale and travelled to Eumundi to snap some of the finest street style at its weekly markets.
The Eumundi Markets are one of the most popular tourist attractions on the Sunshine Coast.
They are held on Saturdays, Wednesdays and Friday nights, and attract up to 1.6 million visitors every year.
Everyone was fresh faced and glowing with the arrival of the New Year. Check out some of the best creative and fun fashion choices below.
Cass, 16.
Cass channels Angela Chase from the hit nineties television show My So Called Life in her checked skater dress and vibrant red hair.
She says her personal style is understated and feminine with a slight rocker edge.
Her dress was a Christmas present from Dotti and her white sandals are from Windsor Smith.
Blogger, model and stylist Nicole Warne from Garry Pepper Girl is her style icon.
Shae, 16 (left) and Tori, 13 (right).
Shae and Tori look offbeat and on trend in their vintage attires.
They like to shop in op shops and markets and are inspired by fashion magazines such as Yen and Frankie.
Shae describes her style as arty, while Tori says shoes are favourite article of clothing.
Kim, 16 (left) and Brendon, 16 (left).
Brendon describes his style as hipster while Kim considers hers to be more scene.
Their favourite places to shop are the Maroochydore area in general and yd.
Kim’s hat is from the Eumundi markets.
Next week we’ll be back in Brisbane, uncovering the best style on its city streets.
