EYE ON: Westfield Carindale

Westfield Carindale literally has something for everyone.
Being a born and bred west-sider, Westfield Carindale was never a place worthy of my time. In fact, the first time I visited it was only around a year ago, and my oh my, has my opinion changed.
With Queensland born, Sydney based label Aje just opening the doors to its 2nd boutique in Australia in Carindale, bringing with them their exciting range of unique embellished pieces, signature to the brand. Located on the ground floor, next to Gallery One, the brand spanking new Aje boutique is a must-see.
Looking for something more refined? Leading Australian brand SABA is a veteran resident here, inviting you to browse their sophisticated and comfortable range.
Only have $50? No dramas. Head to the chains you can always rely on, such as Sportsgirl, Bardot, Dissh, Cotton On and Collette. Fast fashion is plentiful here meaning bargain hunting is practically implied.
A fast-fashion favourite is the Glassons Boutique. Glassons is effectively New Zealand’s answer to Sportsgirl.
The Carindale boutique being the only one in Queensland, a trip to Carindale is never complete without a peek in. With surprisingly unpredictable sizing, Glassons clothing is better bought in store, than bought online.
And of course, Westfield Carindale wouldn’t be complete without something for the gym junkies.
The fitness threads from Canadian based label, lululemon athletica, embody a powerful, fit woman who can take on anything.
With the only other Queensland store being in James Street, it’s just another example of a boutique that beat the CBD in securing a high-end label.
I know where I’ll be shopping from now on!
