Fashion at the Brisbane French Festival

This year, the Brisbane French Festival’s fashion scene is being sponsored by French cosmetics company La Biosthetique.
Fashion blog Plave is also in on it, hosting the 2014 “April in Paris” fashion show to be held on The Kookaburra River Queens. Featured designers include Isabella Longginou, Lucid The Label, Dyani, and Begitta.
Sponsor La Biosthetique is a high end hair care, skin care, and makeup company that focuses on using quality raw materials and never employs animal testing.
The brand will be providing models of the Plave Fashion Show with gorgeous makeup and hair styling, and guests of the shows will receive samples of their best selling products.
Plave Fashion Show-goers will be treated to French fashions on a boat cruising on the Brisbane River, with a glass of French wine, Rose & Heart cupcakes, and the cosmetic-filled gift bag.
Tickets are $26 per person and the show runs over both days of the festival.
The rest of the Brisbane French Festival will be held at Southbank on Saturday the 12th and Sunday the 13th of July. You can expect an array of food tents, a wine pavilion, market stalls, live music, children’s activities, and many other events throughout the weekend.
Entry to the festival is $5 per adult, free for children.
