After much anticipation, the iconic chain-store is finally opening its doors.

Japanese clothing store, Uniqlo, will open its doors in Brisbane later this year in two different locations: Brisbane CBD and Indooroopilly shopping centre.

Uniqlo in Brisbane’s CBD will occupy a space of 2054sqm in Queen St Mall, while the Indooroopilly shopping centre store will be moving into renovated floor space. Customers will be offered to purchase and peruse Uniqlo’s spring/summer 15′ line, and also their light-as-air AIRism apparel.

The label, known for their affordable and high-quality basics, first opened in Melbourne last year, with the flagship store situated in Melbourne’s shopping mecca, the Emporium. With over 7 stores already in Australia (three in Victoria and four in NSW), Uniqlo is fast gaining a huge following across the country.

Uniqlo is one of the fastest growing clothing giants today, spanning across 5 continents and boasts over 1500 stores. They are also known for their collaborative collections with notable figures in fashion like Ines de la Fressange, and more recently, Carine Roitfeld.
