Fish Lane Festival 2016

| On 21, Apr 2016

Fish Lane Festival invites you to drink, dance, and dine the day away in a celebration of South Brisbane’s most iconic laneway on Saturday May 7 from midday to 10pm.

Nestled between Merivale and Grey Street lies Fish Lane, where the eclectic character of West End collides with the culture and creativity of South Bank.

Over the last few years, Fish Lane has undergone an exciting transformation to become one of Brisbane’s leading dining and drinking precincts- if you haven’t yet had the pleasure of discovering Fish Lane, you’re in for a treat… For one day only, the who’s who of the local music, foodie and bar community are coming together to celebrate this unique and vibrant precinct.

Fish Lane Festival has curated a select group of culinary pop-ups from the area’s most talked about and loved restaurants and bars, and emerging local music acts who will perform across two stages; unwind to some great local tunes with craft beer, cocktails, and top-shelf wines, and sample signature dishes from celebrated local eateries including

  • Billy Kart Kitchen
  • Bird’s Nest Restaurant
  • Fish Lane Bistro
  • Gauge
  • Habitat
  • Julius Pizzeria
  • Madame Wu
  • Maker
  • The Fox Hotel
  • The Gun shop Cafe

Visitors can look forward to a special cameo appearance from Bondi native and soon-to-be Fish Lane dining precinct resident… the one and only Gelato Messina, serving up its famous whimsical flavour combos for Brisbane’s ice cream loving masses.

Make your way down to Fish Lane on Saturday 7th May, grab a table with friends, and dine, drink and dance the day away with a jam-packed program of laneway festival fun!
