Flying Fruit Fly Circus Presents Control Alt Delete

Adrien Van Bruinessen | On 03, Sep 2014
Created and directed by award-winning choreographer, Jodie Farraguia, Control Alt Delete combines physical theatre, circus and dance to provide an exciting and unique experience for audiences.
Describing themselves as “ordinary kids doing extraordinary thingsâ€, this highly skilled group of young artists offers a show that explores the ideas and emotions of the performers themselves; analysing control, with emotion and meaning in every stunt.
The Flying Fruit Fly Circus is the only organisation in Australia that offers full-time circus training, education and performance touring for young people aged eight to eighteen, and has been kicking on since 1979.
Their mission is to “develop young artists through circus training at an elite level and create circus performance of exceptional quality for audiences nationally and internationallyâ€, and let me just say, mission complete.
Control Alt Delete is a stirring and exhilarating display of young Aussie talent, and also features an original soundtrack from Australian hip-hop artist, Morganics. Don’t live a life of regret; get on down to the Judith Wright Centre and join in on all the shenanigans. See you there.
“The Flying Fruit Flies bring a priceless quality of sheer joy and youthfulness to their performances†– The Age

“Australia’s first world famous youth circus – and still the best!” Â – Arts Hub
