On the 3rd of June, The Milk Factory Bar and Cafe opened their doors to Brisbane food bloggers in celebration of their new cocktail and menu.Â
The food blogging scene in Brisbane has taken off. The craze of taking photos of every meal reached new levels as Brisbane food bloggers united to publicise The Milk Factory’s new menu launch.
The Milk Factory remains a cool edition to West End’s bar scene as its nautical inspired menu traverses between varying nations, allowing customers to dock and dine without leaving the confines of Brisbane. The interior decor of the bar embellishes an eclectic and authentic feel for customers to enjoy meal delicious, hearty meals. With live music sounding from inside six nights a week, this bar and restaurant has a keen rum focus and a ‘floating’ menu, enticing customers as it changes every three months. The venue dishes out tasty bar food, handpicked tap beer selections, specially selected wine and a tastily array of cocktails.
Former head chef of Jam Jar and Survey Co, Asher Blackford, is to be commended for his witty and creative take on bar food as he encompasses the foods of various locations such as flavours of Japan, Korea, Hawaii and the Philippines. A favourite on the night was the pork belly sliders that took the attention away from conversations. The mouth-watering sweet scent of spiced apple source covering the delicate meat encompassed the room as the waiter walked through the space with a tray bursting with little buns. Flashes were filling the spaces of the dark bar as bundles of bloggers tried to capture the perfect picture.
The Milk Bar is definitely a groovy place for those wishing to eat hearty meals as well as those more adventures personalities out there.
