Fortitude Music Hall to Launch With Massive Local Lineup
The Brisbane music scene is about to get a massive shakeup with Brisbane’s newest live music venue, The Fortitude Music Hall, set to launch in late July.
The Fortitude officially opens its doors on July 26 with the help of some of Brisbane’s most coveted artists. If the launch is any indication of the calibre of acts to come, Brisbane music lovers are in for a treat.
Headlining the event are iconic Queensland natives Ball Park Music, DZ Deathrays and Tia Gostelow. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, it doesn’t stop there. The launch also boasts guest performances from Brisbane’s most legendary musical exports, Powderfinger alumni Bernard Fanning and Ian Haug.
Joining the line-up is Custard front man Dave McCormack, Thelma Plum, Busby Marou, Sahara Beck, and Velociraptor front man Jeremy Neale. Topping it off, the night will be hosted by and feature a performance from Patience Hodgson, front woman of The Grates. All in all, the night is set to be packed with performances from some of the best local talents.
In even better news, the venue already has plenty of acts booked for the rest of the winter season. Aussie favourites Skegss are set to perform the following night on Saturday July 27.
The venue is set to become the largest ballroom theatre-styled space in Australia, with the plan to maintain Fortitude Valley as an unmissable entertainment hub.
