Fortitude Valley Fashion: Nana Judy and Friends

Fortitude Valley Fashion: Nana Judy and Friends

| On 30, Jul 2014

Last week, we gave you Valley fashion, Principessa style. Right next door, at 669B Ann Street, is Nana Judy and Friends: a flagship store from the quirky-cool Australian label.

Nana Judy started as a menswear brand that was launched into boutiques around Australia in 2006. It quickly expanded into more than that, with a women’s collection known as Heart by Nana Judy, and a core basics collection called Less is More. The brand is now stocked in over 200 retailers around Australia and New Zealand, and is expanding overseas as well.

Nana Judy is currently in the Netherlands and Berlin, showcasing the latest collections for men and women. “The Momentum Collection” consists of vegan leather, a lot of monochrome, and classic pieces.

Nana Judy’s menswear features pop culture, vintage, and underground inspiration. No matter what your taste is, it’s guaranteed you’ll find something you like in store. Nana Judy’s clothes have been featured in several fashion shows around the country and are ahead of trend each time.

Heart by Nana Judy takes on classic pieces with edgy, rock and roll twists. Their mission is to take you from day to night effortlessly with pieces that layer with any outfit, and that’s definitely possible with their extensive range. The basics collection, Less is More, has everything you need to pair with the outfits you style. From t-shirts to tank tops, Nana Judy will have what you want on the hangers.

They also have a huge range of denim for both men and women, from skinny jeans to embellished jackets. The back shelves are full of all your denimy-goodness needs, so head to Nana Judy and have a look. Our personal favourites are the highrise midnight indigo ankle grazers. So comfy and effortless!

What are your favourite places to shop in the Valley? We’ll be visiting a new one each week so let us know what stores you would like to see featured next.
