Fused at the Powerhouse

Fused at the Powerhouse

| On 26, Jul 2013

If you’re one of the many music-lovers missing out on a slice of Splendour this weekend, fear not! There’s plenty of delicious music happening in Brisbane that you can sink your teeth into.

As part of Queensland Music Festival, Brisbane’s favourite converted warehouse has been pumping out the best of our city’s local talent all throughout July, and this weekend is no different.

Fused is a free event showcasing some of the best artist’s from both the Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts (ACPA) and the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.

The collaboration between ACPA and the Queensland Conservatorium will bring singers, songwriters and other talented musicians to the Powerhouses’ Turbine Platform to deliver original and culturally rich music.

The event will showcase up to 25 of artists on stage at the same time, displaying a fusion of genuine talents from guitarists, bassists, drummers, rappers and singers.

If that doesn’t sound at least mildly entertaining then I don’t know what is!

So head on over the Powerhouse this weekend and soak up the atmosphere of this musical extravaganza.
