Get Chill’d at Ipswich’s newest cocktail and wine bar!

| On 30, Oct 2013

For everyone who thought Ipswich was a bit sleepy to really have a nightlife – Chill’d is here to prove you wrong!

The Prince Alfred Hotel has undergone a revamp, with the historic hotel adding a new cocktail and wine bar to the menu.

With mixologist’s introducing exciting signature cocktails with intimidatingly fun names – I am personally most excited about trying the Fluffy Unicorn and Caviar Cocktail!

Launched on Wednesday 16th, Chill’d is officially open for business and is sure to spice up the Ipswich social scene.

The launch party was a perfect indicator of the hit that Chill’d is sure to be, with the fantastic turnout supporting the need for such a venue in Ipswich.

“Chill’d reflects a cultural shift occurring in Ipswich,” event organiser Jackie Casey said.

“There’s massive growth happening in the region, and we have simply decided to cater for a large group of people who are tired of travelling to and from Brisbane to enjoy themselves on a Friday or Saturday night.”

Opening in 1872, the Prince Alfred Hotel has been undergoing an extensive facelift, including the opening of Char’d Steakhouse last year that introduced a fine dining aspect.

Chill’d continues to reflect this sophisticated facelift, and has taken inspiration from Aspen Lodges within the interior design, encompassing the concept of a Winter wonderland.

So for all those in the area who are looking for a fun, classy and fashionable night out without the fuss of facing the city – this is the place for you!

Ipswich has finally got a ‘cool’ place to hang out – head to Chill’d!
