Brisbane boys Last Dinosaurs are returning home this Friday to kick off their national tour in promotion of killer new album Wellness. Featuring popular new releases ‘Evie’ and ‘Apollo’, tickets are selling fast.
On the back of the release of Wellness, frontman Sean Caskey spoke with The Creative Issue about what the fans can expect from the upcoming tour.
“I’m really excited about the fact that we can basically play the album in order from start to finish with old songs slipped in.” Sean spoke particularly of a new medley cover mashing up Michael Jackson and Jamiroquai. “We’ve always done that sort of stuff, we’ve always wanted to challenge ourselves and Michael Jackson is extremely hard. We’ve been rehearsing a lot so it’s going to be fun.â€
The Triffid will host the band this Friday night (September 25) with tickets available from Oztix or The Triffid website. Special guests Palms and The Jensens will be opening the show at 8pm. The official after party will continue at the Foundry with DJ sets by Last Dinosaurs and mates Rolls Bayce and Palms.
Don’t miss out on the Dino’s last hometown show of 2015, and stay tuned for our extended chat with Sean.
