Late November Release Sophomore EP

Townsville locals Late November gave TCI a sneaky peak at their sophomore EP In Your Head Again ahead of its release on 1 May.

School friends Alex, Denzel, Kodie, Aden, Sam and Michael have fast established themselves as scene favourites in Northern Queensland. In their relatively short career, they’ve notched an impressive list of accomplishments.

The energetic six piece released their debut EP Lost In The Debris back in 2018 and have supported the likes of San Cisco, Lime Cordiale, British India and Thirsty Merc building a loyal following along the way. They’ve won numerous awards since their debut including the People’s Choice Award at Neck of the Woods Music Festival.

Earlier this month they released the first taste of their upcoming EP. New single ‘Special’, which also featured EP track ‘Never Ever’, immediately found favour with their fans. Late November’s In Your Head Again EP is another five track affair and, like lead single ‘Special’, the entire EP reverberates themes of personal doubt and self empowerment.

Showing off the bands range of sonic territory In Your Head Again begins with the heartfelt opener ‘Never Ever’ and rolls straight into ‘Special’, which is sure to be equal parts uplifting and fun live. Midway point ‘Melancholia’, takes a step towards somewhere darker and taps into the band’s more soulful side. ‘Interlude’ is a soothing acoustic piece which transitions us into the final track of the EP ‘Magnificent’. The EP’s finale is fittingly the longest, and possibly the finest moment, of the release, ending on the promising sentiment – “Something is changing and I’ll bet it’s something magnificent.”
