A vibrant space, the restaurant consists of a variety of seating arrangements. It is a communal space where individuals or groups can share an area, whether drinking, dining or meeting for business. This isn’t your usual generic hotel restaurant, every aspect of this place is well thought out with charm, difference and a sense of fresh new ideas and modern accents. With captivating and multiple cooking styles focusing on a wood-fired oven, the sizzling Brazilian BBQ and grill, a flaming Asian wok as well as a more classic kitchen offerings, Lennons will impress the locals and visitors alike.
Comfort food is given a gourmet twist in lunch and dinner offerings with traditional favourites such as spaghetti bolognaise updated with Wagyu beef. The Lennonsâ€™ gourmet comfort food concept evolved through understanding that diners want authentic, nostalgic, healthy, inventive and great value dining. Queenslandâ€™s best artisanal produce, the offerings, as prepared with precision by Executive Chef Todd Adams, will nourish the mind, body and soul.
Lunch offerings include a signature salad of heirloom tomatoes and warmed goatâ€™s chevre with black olive and brioche which will let guests return to business, refreshed from lunch. A range of tempting starters, from market oysters to Wagyu Bresaola are sure to delight. At dinner, you will be tempted with signature dishes including smoked Tasmanian salmon, pickled beetroot, horseradish and sorrel and spiced free range chicken with olives, beans and tahini yoghurt. I opted for the delicate and summery Moreton Island fish tails with spiced yoghurt, coriander and ginger, each element of the dish was in perfect balance.
The parrilla grill will wow you with grass-fed and dry aged steaks, as well as freshly grilled seafood offered daily. Letâ€™s not forget the dessert menu, which features treats such as the freshly house-made Valhrona chocolate tart â€“ simply ahmazing! A gorgeous plate of Coconut sobret, ginger mousse, lime jelly and a light sponge or a thoughtfully put together cheese platter complete with quince and carrot marmalade.
Besides gourmet comfort food, Lennons Restaurant & Bar will offer craft beers and ciders from the likes of Burleigh Brewing company and Stone and Wood from Byron. And donâ€™t forget to sample the NEXT Generation cocktails list, it is well worth it. Patrons can also grab a quick takeaway, as offered by Lennons ToGo, or have their meal delivered under Lennons Delivery.
The inventive dining concept and menus will be updated seasonally by Chef Adams, who has helmed the award-winning Stokehouse Brisbane, Urbane, the Euro Brasserie, and Epicure Brisbane.
