There really is no better way to finish off your weekend and start the week right than a dose of live music.
Livespark is presented by Brisbane Powerhouse and Brisbane Airport to bring you some of the best local indie-pop and rock acts.
Every Sunday afternoon during the month of March you can relax with friends and family and reconnect to your artistic side.
The acts performing over the next month are as follows:
March 2nd – Asa Broomhall/Pete Cullen & The Saltwater Cowboys
March 9th – Madeleine Paige/Beautiful Jim
March 16th – Brant Ward/Denvar
March 23rd – Halfway
This Sunday afternoon, enjoy the energetic sound of Asa Broomhall, known as Australia’s very own rock and roots larrikin. Asa’s mix of rock, folk and blues, with a touch of harmonica thrown in there, will definitely get your head swaying and foot tapping.
Pete Cullen and The Saltwater Cowboys join a little later in the afternoon with their smooth voices and even smoother guitar solos. Relax and enjoy their raw, unedited and full of swagger sound.
The acts are presented as a double bill with performances commencing at 3.30pm.
Enjoy the gigs with a wine or beer in hand, or bring the whole family to this all ages event and opt for a soft drink.
Either way, it’s the perfect way to spend one or all of your Sunday afternoons in March.
