Logan Live Music Month is Back!
Love local music? Logan Live is returning for its second year, and there’s a packed program of free local live music on offer starting next week.
A month-long music showcase is hitting Logan, and you’ve got one week left to plan your Logan Live Music Month experience.
The City of Logan might not be the first place you associate with live music, but as it turns out there’s a live music scene, and it’s thriving.
Logan City Council, Arts Queensland and the Brisbane Multicultural Arts Centre have banded together (no pun intended) to deliver a showcase of local talent. The showcase offers an opportunity to catch performances from the likes of 2019 Queensland Music Award winner and ambient pop prodigy Tokyo Twilight and roots-pop outfit Mayan Fox, as well as dozens of other talented artists working south of the river.
Logan Live will run throughout the month of July in multiple venues across Logan making it the perfect opportunity to get out and uncover some local musical gems. Among the 45 acts in this year’s lineup are a variety of genres spanning from country to jazz, and everything in between.
Never wandered South of Brisbane City? Here’s your chance to discover the City of Logan through the venues of Logan Live including coffee shops, libraries, and boutique breweries. With 88 performances on the bill, there’s plenty of opportunity to get in on the action and support Logan’s diverse pool of musical talent while checking out some local hang out spots.
As if that wasn’t enough reason to get on board, Logan Live has your back with gigs running day and night to fit in with the busiest of schedules. Whether it’s a night of pub rock or a lunchtime folk show, there’s something for every taste.
