Madame Wu's Lunch Banquet this Good Food Month

Grab a friend and get a taste of Madame Wu’s menu this Good Food Month with their special lunch banquet.
Patrons have the option of sitting inside with the moody lights and the cosy atmosphere or outside on the balcony with the refreshing cool breeze and river view. Whether you choose to join the dark side or the light side, your food will tell you it is the right side. By specialising in Asian fusion, Madame Wu is able to deliver hearty Asian flavours with a modern western twist to cater to Brisbane’s tastes.
With a minimum of two people per table, the hearty lunch banquet is priced at just $35 per person for the table. For starters, you are presented with wagyu dumplings, tang sui chicken ribs, and steamed duck buns. The tang sui chicken ribs are bursting with sweetness so if paired with the mild steamed buns, you will get a nice mouthful of flavours.
Next are the beef cheeks braised in rock sugar and soy, served with black bean and chilli sauce; roasted pork belly served with red onions, herbs, peanuts, and a hot and sour dressing; stir fried greens in housemade oyster sauce; and steamed rice. The beef cheeks and pork belly were scrumptiously tender while the greens and rice ensured the banquet was healthily balanced.
After browsing through eleven pages of wine and another eight pages of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, I grabbed a Summertime Punch from their mocktail list. The combination of pineapple and cranberry juice mixed with a passionfruit and watermelon puree nicely hit both my sweet and sour spots. It is safe to say that Madame Wu will have your hunger and thirst covered.
Sipping on my mocktail and patting my bloated stomach while appreciating the view of the Brisbane Story Bridge was definitely a pleasant way to spend my Sunday afternoon.
