Whether you’re trying to eat better or you just want to enjoy a delicious fruity treat, give this healthy mango banana smoothie bowl a try. It’s easy to make, sugar-free and 100% delicious.

This mango banana smoothie bowl is best enjoyed sitting in Brisbane’s beautiful winter sunshine. On its own, this smooth, naturally sweet ice cream is a great way to get your daily allowance of fruit and to increase your intake of fibre, vitamins A & C and potassium. But add your favourite muesli or granola and extra fruit on top and you have yourself a wonderful and filling brekkie, complete with complex carbohydrates and healthy fats.

Go ahead and mix things up. If you don’t like bananas, try frozen raspberries instead. Have fun with your toppings. If you’re out of muesli or granola, try my 5-minute stovetop granola recipe.
