Jordan Maass | On 21, Dec 2014
With a number of days left until New Year’s Eve, it’s time for the men of Brisbane to have their style locked down for the big night.
For me, New Year’s Eve has always been a time to look your best, no matter if you’re attending a party at The Fox Hotel or watching the fireworks at South Bank with the family. It’s an occasion to be stylish and to make sure you’re the best dressed man in the room. Take a look below, see what category you fit in and pick up on some tips to make your New Year’s an unforgettably stylish affair.
For the dapper dresser…
Taking pride in your appearance is something all men should do, but that’s not the case. New Year’s Eve is filled with glamorous parties and sophisticated dinners and this is what the dapper dresser lives for. Velvet suits, luxurious blazers and all black tuxedos are the essentials for this particular style.
For the casual dresser…
For a guy who doesn’t particular go for the party scene and prefers to keep it low-key with friends, the casual dresser likes the simpler things in life. Light cardigans, printed tees, bermuda shorts & rolled up chino’s are in this guy’s wardrobe all year round. And keeps the tradition going for New Year’s Eve.
For the daring dresser…
Never to be understated, the daring dresser commands to be seen in any environment, and New Year’s Eve is the main event on their fashion calendar. Statement prints, sophisticated tailoring, clean lines, colour blocking and trendy accessories will make for one incredible look for New Year’s Eve 2014.
For the party dresser…
The biggest parties of the year are always left until New Years, and the party dresser lives for this time of year. Bright colours, leather jackets, double denim, skinny jeans and chic loafers will be what this guy is wearing while ripping up the dancefloor well into the new year.
From South Bank to the Valley, I expect to see some insta-worthy outfits for New Year’s Eve 2014.
