| On 14, Jun 2018

It’s finally here! You guessed it the full Mercedes-Benz Brisbane Fashion Festival Brisbane Line-Up for 2018. This year the show is thrilled to announce an impressive line-up which includes both Australian and Queensland designers!

The Fashion Festival returns to the stunning Old Government house again at QUT Gardens Point. Just imagine, a breathtaking location, a buzz of excitement in the air and a seat just for you to watch your favourite designers. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival has welcomed back Pacific Fair as a partner again this year which means the Pacific Fair Fashion Show is back and held on Monday the 27th of August. The show will feature Pacific Fair’s leading Australian and global fashion brands and the hottest trends for the new season.

Be prepared to indulge on Monday the 27th and Tuesday the 28th because the Queens Plaza High Tea and Fashion Trends series returns for another year at Tattersall’s Club. The event will be hosted by stylist Kimberly Gardner and guests get to peruse the new-season trends with a glass of champagne in hand and snack on an array of delicious treats! Now come on, who would want to pass up that opportunity?

On Tuesday evening the festival goes off-site for a special runway show hosted at St John’s Cathedral in Brisbane CBD. The Cathedral will provide an ethereal backdrop for the Mercedes-Benz Group Show 1. This show is set to feature stunning collections from designers including White Label Noba, Camilla, Moreno Marcos, Ginger & Smart, Alice McCall, Bianca Spender, Dion Lee, Scanlan Theodore, Ella Moda and George Wu. I’m already getting jittery thinking about it!

On Wednesday the 29th of August, emerging fashion designers will have the opportunity to present their magnificent work in the Next Gen Group Show. The future of fashion will be on display with brands including QUT Fashion, Kimbralou, Kokoswim, KG Australia, Annalisse Designs, TAFE Queensland, Murrii Quu Designs, Club Couture Australia, Jordan Hewitt, Nardia Panettiere Couture, Black N Bling and ZENgara by Naomi De Marco all showing their pieces.

Wrapping up this year’s program on Thursday the 30th of August, the Mercedes-Benz Group Show 2 is set to showcase resort, daywear, menswear and resort pieces from labels including, Aqua Blu Australia, Ruby Yaya, Maiocchi, Naudic, Bonita Kaftans, Helen Grant, Sacha Drake, Bora and Urbbana. It doesn’t stop there, after the show guests are invited to join the Fashion Festival teams to celebrate at the Treasury Brisbane Wrap Party.
