After much anticipation about which of our favourite designers will be featured, the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane line-up for 2019 is finally here! This year, the show has announced another spectacular line-up of international, Australian and Queensland based designers which are sure to impress.

For 2019, the fashion festival finds a new home at the Howard Smith Wharves precinct, which  provides the perfect backdrop for the Sunset Launch Party held at The Fantauzzo on Sunday the 25th of August. This party invites guests to dress to impress in spring appropriate white, and grab a first glimpse of this year’s runway collections.

Monday the 26th of August sees a full day of fashion festival fun, starting with Lunch with the Girls & salon show at Brisbane City Hall, where guests will enjoy a luncheon with some of Australia’s most recognisable women while also taking in the top 40 Spring/Summer 19 fashion trends. On Monday evening, guests will be stunned by the Queens Plaza fashion show at Howard’s Hall, featuring new season collections from David Jones, alice McCALL, Sass & Bide, Calibre, Viktoria & Woods, Scanlan Theodore, Aje, and Bulgari.

If you weren’t buying your tickets already, Tuesday the 26th of August is all about the Mercedes-Benz Group Show 1, which sees guests return to Howard’s Hall to experience stunning designs from Aje, Ginger & Smart, Lindsay Ridings, Bonita Kaftans, alice McCALL, White Label Noba and Bianca Spender.

On Wednesday the 28th of August the future of fashion will be on display, as emerging designers showcase their work at The Fantauzzo Next Gen Group Show. At this show, guests will be enthralled by the fresh, creative and avant-garde designs of Me-Q, Rosa Rosa The Label, alisha MARAKI, TAFE Queensland (featuring Ileana the Label & Cassidy the Label), Murrii Quu Couture, Annalisse Designs, Kelvin Grove State College KG – BOLD, Maison Garde, Stranger, QUT Fashion, Astille and Matilda Cove kimbralou.

Closing the show on Thursday the 29th of August is the Mercedes-Benz Group Show 2, where guests will witness the spectacular Spring/Summer 10 collections from some of Queensland and Australia’s top fashion talent. This incredible lineup includes the likes of Sacha Drake, URBBANA, BlackNBling, Ella Moda, Bora, Kortni Portia, Naudic, Boom Shankar and Aqua Blu Australia.
