Introducing Nine Lives Festival

Introducing Nine Lives Festival
Olivia Gliku

It’s been a great few months for festivals in Brisbane, in fact it feels like a new event announcement is dropped every week, with this week being no exception. Coinciding with Jet Black Cat’s 9th Birthday, the Brissie icon is teaming up with Handsome Tours to bring you the inaugural Nine Lives Festival.

Boasting an absolutely stacked lineup, Nine Lives will be bringing the following acts to The Tivoli for a three-stage, one-day Brissie block party:

Aldous Harding (NZ), Angie McMahon, Julia Jacklin, Allah-Las (USA), Kevin Morby (USA), Kikagaku Moyo (Japan), Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Buttercats, Desmond Cheese, Elder, First Beige, HANDSOME, Jim Griffin, Nice Biscuit, Pink Matter, Moreton, Sycco and DJ Heartbeats.

The brand spankin’ new What’s Golden room will host performances from female and gender non-conforming artists on the Double Dingo stage, while outside, Nine Lives’ open-air stage will sit alongside a summertime bazaar of food-trucks, sausage sizzles, record crates, market stalls and activities.

As if you really needed any more reason to punt the day away, Nine Lives will also be offering a limited number of tickets for dogs!

The cat is well and truely out of the bag, with tickets available from 11am Brisbane time today.
